Special retraining faculty is established at Perm state technical university under a special act of the Ministry of Education of Russian Federation, specialisation "Industrial management", first enrolment of students. |

First output of the faculty graduates. |

The new Chair "Industrial management" is set up with a group of like-minded people. |
| 1988 |
Exploration of new technologies, professional exchanges inside and outside Russia, setting up a joint Russian-Austrian enterprise "MMT-International". |

- RMC is listed among 15 Russian institutions running the MBA programme;
- becomes an ally of Perm state university in the consortium for a federal project of managers' degree training course;
- takes part in a Regional pilot project sponsored by TACIS.

- RMC becomes a constituent member of the Ministry of Education Additional Professional Education Council;
- initiates the joint project with All Russia Academy of Foreign Trade for teaching the students in International business;
- creation of a specialised Chair in marketing.

- RMC is ranking the leading position among other institutions for professional training in Russian federation;
- a Centre of Innovations and Labour is created targeted at workers;
- a faculty of Information Technology and Computer Technique (programming, simulation) -ITCT;
- development of MBA program -MBA International business;
- establishing the new institution - Corporate university;
- establishing the children centre - School Plus;
- organisation of information consulting centre at RMC.

- joint project MBA International business- British Open University Link on distance learning programme;
- signed an Agreement with State Management University for joint training and certification of the students;
- established a new faculty "Resource Management";
- started a new division "Innovative and Project management";
- created a chair "Personnel Management".

- Diploma from Perm Fair "Education and Career" for professional stand presentation and promotion of the exhibition culture;
- arranged and run the International Conference "Corporate Education for New Economy: Problems and Solutions";
- participation in the IV International Conference "Modern problems in theory and practice of company management" held in Bulgaria;
- received a grant from Industry and Science Department for the development of the program "Regional Management Potential";
- created new divisions: Management Resources Exploration Centre, Consulting Centre, Adaptive Modules Technology Centre, Chair of Logistics, Financial Management Chair, Network Marketing;
- ITCT received Microsoft Certificate and is today the only training and certifying Centre in Perm acknowledged by world famous company.
